My Online Health Class + New Posting Schedule!

Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday!

So I thought I would first tell you about my new posting schedule that I just recently planned out.

Monday- Pinday Monday
Tuesday- Health related
Wednesday- Fashion related
Thursday- Random
Friday- Random
Saturday/Sunday- Weekly recap

So in honor of today being a health related post, I thought...what better time to tell you about my online health class I'm taking this summer!?!

I'm taking an online health class this summer to be able to have a study hall this coming up school year and still be able to take a choir class. In this health class we talk about things such as healthy diets, exercising, and body systems and how they work properly. Each day we have a discussion that we have to partake in which is actually my favorite parts because I get to speak my mind a little more freely, just like on here!

I'm actually really enjoying this class for the most part. It can be difficult because the internet connection is not always flawless, but the content of the class is well put together and I enjoy learning about health and it does inspire me to be more healthy.

This class is through my school so it's not open to the public, but it's through Open Class on Google.

Comment down below if you've ever taken an online class and what it was! If you haven't, what class would you take online?

Pinday Monday

Hello everyone!!

I would like to officially welcome you to my new series (that I'm planning on making a staple!) to my blog called "Pinday Monday"! It seems sort of self explanatory, but what it is, is I narrow down my five favorite things I've pinned from Pinterest in the past week. That's a pretty tough choice since I'm such an avid pinner!! Everyone always seems to hate Mondays, myself included, but this series will hopefully add some happiness to those Monday when you just feel "bleh"!

Here we go! Happy Pinday Monday!

This photo first caught my eye because of the adorable lemon slice float she is on. Turns out, it's actually a link to a swimsuit, but that's okay I still absolutely adore the lemon float.

This is my favorite pool workout lately, I love getting in the pool to relax, and exercising in the pool still feels like relaxing!

•three•

This beautiful picture was taken by a very talented photographer at Shark Fin Cove Beach in Davenport, California. I'm not too sure where that's at, but I think it's closer to SF. Anyways, this picture really makes me want to go to that beach!

These Ralph Lauren tennis balls are about the cutest things I've ever seen! I'm a tennis enthusiast and love to play with the cutest tennis balls. These ones with the logo are too cute and I might need to get them!

First thing first, huge shoutout goes to my mom for sending me this pin. This was my favorite pin, for sure, all week. I freaked out when my mom sent it to me! You can bet money that when I get my own place my bathroom will look like this.

Thank you guys so much for reading this post. Don't forget to follow all my social media! I would love to hear from you guys!

Travel Fever

I've always been one that loves to travel. I don't get to travel as much as I'd like to though, but this summer I have a couple plans. As I'm writing this, I'm in Arizona, which I've written a little but about already. I'm actually leaving tomorrow and I'm contemplating "forgetting" to get on my flight. Kidding! But I really do not want to leave.
I come to Arizona every year for ten days to visit my grandma and go sightseeing, shopping, etc. She lives around the Scottsdale area and if you would like me to do my favorite things around Scottsdale blogpost, I would love to do that!
Later this summer, around the middle/end of July, I'll be heading down to the south east part of the country to the city of Charleston, SC! I'll actually be staying in a townhouse on the beach down there with a lot of my family. If you have any recommendations as to where to visit down there I would love to hear where I should go!

My Current Favorite Apps

A word you could use to describe me could be an App Junkie. I somehow feel the need to download excessive amounts of apps even though I only use

a few. So I'm going to show you some of my favorites.

Yahoo Weather! Is a fantastic app. It's very reliable when it comes to being factual and has beautiful scenery taken from Flickr for each city.
 Next up is Timehop!!!!

You've probably heard of it and that's because it is a fabulously put together app. It tells you what you posted on social media a year before, two, three, and four years before. I happen to be very excited each day to check my Timehop. Here's what inside the app looks like.
Looks like I didn't have anything to say that day!

Next is my forever favorite app Pinterest

Like I said, Pinterest will forever be my favorite app!! If you don't know what Pinterest is it's like a virtual bulletin board and you can "pin" things you like! Go ahead and follow my Pinterest: Savana Schubert

How to Make Your Plane Ride More Enjoyable

This past Wednesday, I was on a plane down to Arizona from my hometown in Illinois. I come down every year for ten days to visit my grandma and go sightseeing. I would say I've experienced many plane rides and have had many different experiences. I just want to share some tips with you to help your plane ride become a little more enjoyable.

1. Find a good book. For my recent plane ride I downloaded the new book by the oldest Duggar girls on my Kindle. I read for most of the time on the plane and found that it was a great way to pass the time.

2. Go to the restroom beforehand. Nothing is worse than needing to use the bathroom when there's a line. Also, some plane rides may have bad turbulence with wouldn't allow you to leave your seat to use the restroom.

3. Food and drink. My family pre-packed some snacks to eat for the plane. I had some chocolate covered raisins and Annie's Cheddar Bunnies (which are my two favorite snacks!).

How to Throw a Successful Surprise Party

Last weekend, a couple of my best friends and I threw party for our other best friend's fifteenth birthday. I'd never even been to a surprise party, let alone throw one before! It wasn't a huge banger with screaming loud music and people we didn't know, but there were maybe twenty to thirty of the birthday girls closest friends, mostly consisting of girls. I wanted to share with you some tips I had on how to throw a surprise party because it was one of the greatest experiences I've had.

1. Give out the invitations discreetly. Nothing is worse than the birthday girl finding out about her own party! My friend, whose house it was at, gave out the invitations on the last day of school when the birthday girl wasn't going to be there due to her finals schedule.

2. Make sure everyone gets there before the birthday girl. The surprise moment is the greatest moment of all, and it would be awful for someone to be coming in at the same time as her! The expression on our birthday girl's face was priceless and extremely rewarding! I've gotta say it was kind of a tear jerker!

3. Food! For food we got a couple of really long sub sandwiches because they didn't have to be warm like a pizza. We also had cupcakes instead of cake for easier access. Bags of chips, candy, and water bottles area good idea also!

4. Entertainment can be tricky! For our entertainment, we had a couple of guests bring games such as twister, apples to apples, etc. Have an outdoor space set up where people can play games on the porch, or go in the yard and play bean bag toss or ladder ball! We had music playing downstairs, not because we wanted to dance, but because we wanted to avoid the awkwardness throughout the room of listening to each other's conversations.

5. Decorations. I wouldn't go too all out with decorations, but just but some cheap streamers or banners and balloons to at least let people know that it's a party! It doesn't matter if you go all out, or just blow up a couple balloons, the birthday girl will be grateful as ever just for the thought that you put together.
